Our Tawny-owl hide in Montseny is conceived so that you can take many photos of this bird in many positions and attitudes: On top of some branch or log, landing with open wings, among others.
Many specimens of this species are lured into place with food and meat pieces technically put in front of the hide but without being seen from it.
You don’t have flashes? Do not worry, we arrange the place from a technical point of view, too: we have flashes and our own wires so that all you have to do is come with the camera. But we need you to tell us which brand you will use. You are two people? No problem, we prepare a different lighting set regarding the brand of your camera.
Unlike other hides, in this one it is necessary that the guide remains with you to solve any possible upcoming trouble with flashes.
Once the booking is completed, our guide will take you from the meeting point to the hide. Leaving the hide is done under guide’s supervision and it is forbidden to exit if the guide hasn’t knocked the door yet, to make sure the birds won’t be disturbed.
