DELTA BIRDING FESTIVAL

The annual meeting point on the Mediterranean shore

Every year the Ebro Delta, one of the most important natural spaces in the Western Mediterranean, hosts the Delta Birding Festival, which offers a very extensive and attractive program of activities with conferences, courses, workshops, competitions, etc… accompanied by a large fair with products and services for ornithologists and for people who enjoy nature in general.

The Delta Birding Festival From Friday to Sunday the Delta uses to be held every year in the weekend before the last weekend of September. PHOTO LOGISTICS has been involved as an exhibitor from the very first edition and from 2023 we are in the managing board as one of the organiser entities. The partnership is now composed by Oryx, the wildlife specialized shop, ICO, the Catalan Ornithological Institute, Fundació Catalunya la Pedrera, owner of Monnatura Delta, the estate where the DBF has place and Photo Logistics, specially for everything regarding the wildlife photography in the festival.

Although the number of activities during those days is just insane we like to highlight some points:

– Trading fair with attendance of many camera, lens and complement companies. Also hides and other complements.

– Morning and afternoon photo itineraries, Delta Photo Tour, where you can test cameras and lenses in an itinerary leaded by a reputed photographer and guided by us.

– Delta Photo Contest. Photographic contest focused on birds and their habitats. It has great prizes and we deeply encourage to participate. During the festival a whole marquee show the winner pieces.

– Lectures of great bird (and wildlife) experts, including photographers and artists.

Every year we contribute on a different conservation project with the benefits of the DBF. The list of the projects is available in the festival site.
