Two comfortable vulture hide located in the Aragon Pyrenees, giving excellent opportunities for a number of species including Lammergeier, Griffon, Egyptian, both Kites and even Golden Eagle.
Experience the big opportunities that this hides offer to you and try the most comfortable hide you have never seen. Spending the day in that productive hide means great opportunities in a number of scavengers, like Lammergeier, Griffon Vultures, Red Kite, Black Kite (spring and summertime), Egyptian vultures (spring and summertime) or Golden Eagle.
These two hides are big enough for up to four people each and the large windows gives great opportunities to take photos of both, landed and flying birds.
During the winter and even the first weeks of springtime the breathtaking snown mountains of Posets – Maladeta will provide the perfect background for your photos.
We feed these raptors with carrion thanks to an agreement with local livestockers and we make sure the site is kept clean of any excess detritus that might interfere with creating good natural looking images. As with all our hides we frequently refresh perches too.
Since Bonansa is quite a remote place we deeply encourage to book your accommodation in the same village. We help in that, just ask.
After meeting our guide in Bonansa, you will be driven to the hide before sunrise. Exiting the hide is always made with our guide ensuring no disturbance to the birds that are visiting.
