Roller Hide

This is one of the most colourful bird species on the steppes. This migratory bird makes its nest a little later than resident species and may occupy holes in farm houses and shelters and hollow spaces in trees and dry-stone walls. Photo Logistics set nesting boxes in human constructions and trees in order to contribute to the conservation of this species. This also helps to guarantee good results in photographic sessions. This action has been undertaken in collaboration with the owners of shelters and other constructions.

The hides that are used for this purpose are individual and made of wood with a comfortable chair. Each has a window with one way glass.

Once the meeting point has been agreed, a Photo Logistics’ guide will take you to the hide before sunrise. The session finishes around 11:00AM. You cannot leave the hide until our guide returns to let you out.
